Lisa Lutz is a researcher and a licensed private investigator.
She owns a WI Private Detective Agency License and WI Private Detective License.

Her degree is a BFA from the University of South Dakota. She attends continuing education courses and belongs to numerous Investigative Groups.
Her product safety experience began in 1987 and resulted in changes to product safety procedures, design, warnings, and technical literature, and changes to the products themselves. For ten years she participated in numerous product safety programs for the University of Wisconsin including the Role of Warnings and Instructions, Successful Defense of a Product Liability Lawsuit, International Appliance Technical Conference, IBM Product Safety Program, Training the Expert Witness, Hazard Analysis Techniques in Evaluating Product Safety, Effective Accident Investigation, Reconstruction, and Presentation, Establishing and Implementing a Products Safety Program, 9th Annual Products Liability Conference, Obtaining the CE Mark; Compliance with New European Union (EU) Product Regulations, and Litigation Management.
She provides private investigation work to private parties, attorneys, insurance companies, international investigative groups, and privately held corporations with investigative services including but not limited to: interviewing, documentary photography, video, public record searches, surveillance and undercover. Her investigative work involves a variety of issues including sexual harassment and land use. In one case she interviewed over one hundred individuals regarding asbestos fireproofing of steel beams in a hospital. In another, a sexual harassment case inside a law firm.

She is a former supervisor for the Dane County Board of Supervisors and served on the following Board of Directors: Madison Aids Support Network, Dane County Development Corporation, Cultural Affairs Commission, Greater Madison Convention and Tourism, and Black Earth Creek Watershed. She also served on the State of Wisconsin Legislative Council on Surface Water Resources, Subcommittee Wetlands.
She served on the following Dane County committees: Transportation, Legislative, University Extension, Land Conservation, and University of Wisconsin Extension Long Range Planning Committee. She is past president of the Dane County Women’s Political Caucus.
In addition to her present work, she was a sales trainer, three years as a volunteer for the United Way, and a Loaned Executive to the United Way. She served three terms as Vice President on the Board of Directors for the North West Dane Senior Services, and past president to the Dane County Women’s Political Caucus.
